The Kentucky Association of Counties Insurance Agency, Inc. held an annual shareholders meeting at 1 p.m. (ET) immediately following the Kentucky Association of Counties Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, December 19, 2024. This meeting was held at the KACo offices located at 400 Englewood Drive in Frankfort, Ky. and via video teleconference, in accordance with KRS 61.826 and 65.312(3).

President Mosley called the meeting to order at 1:41 p.m.
Mr. Henderson said the KACo Insurance Agency (KIA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of KACo and explained the Board's role, as shareholders, in electing members annually to the KIA Board.
Motion made by Orbrey Gritton, seconded by Greg Terry, to approve the minutes of December 14, 2023. Motion carried.
President Mosley requested approval to reelect the following directors to the KACo Insurance Agency, Inc. Board commencing immediately and expiring at the next annual shareholders meeting.
Scott County Judge/Executive Joe Pat Covington and Butler County Magistrate Stevie Givens representing the KACo Board of Directors and Floyd County Magistrate Ronnie Akers and Rowan County Judge/Executive Harry Clark as representatives participating in the Kentucky Association of Counties health insurance program.
Motion made by David Nicholson, seconded by Tabatha Clemons, to reelect Judge Joe Pat Covington, Squire Stevie Givens, Squire Ronnie Akers and Judge Harry Clark to the board of directors of the KACo Insurance Agency, Inc. for a one-year term effective immediately and expiring at the next annual shareholder's meeting. Motion carried.
Motion made by David Livingston, seconded by Gary Moore, to adjourn the meeting at 1:44 p.m. Motion carried.
